IDH3 is a regulatory subunit of the mitochondrially-localized NAD+- dependent isocitrate dehydrogenase. In contrast to the broadly expressed other regulatory (IDH-I and IDH-II) and catalytic (IDH-V and IDH-VI) subunits of this enzyme, IDH-III expression appears to be restricted largely to pollen. |
